DARRON Mink encourages people to cut up their credit cards.

The Pinnacle Financial & Investment Services director said the cards can prove to be a costly trap for too many people.

He believes credit has been too easy for too long.

Mr Mink and his team offer a range of strategies designed to free people from financial bondage and build wealth.

Broad-ranging advice covers topics including personal superannuation, self-managed super funds, negative gearing, home loans, income protection and retirement planning.

"There are so many simple ways to turn bad financial situations around and prepare for the future," he said.
